Take two!

And ohh, what a great post it was, filled with sensitive inquiries and emotional sentiments not offered, nor to be taken lightly...this, however, is not that entry. It is much more concise, and a bit bitter. **Here endeth the Disclaimer**

So how have you been? I'm serious. It's been a while. Sorry about that. Truly I am.

So Mel recently asked me where I've been hiding and I realized how much time had gotten away from me. (An easy task these days, as I have so it so thinly divided.) I never meant to be away as long as I have, but I just kept piling on one creative endeavor after another. It sorta breaks down like this.

I started a blog and a podcast for my socio-political rantings that took off beyond my wildest expectations and got the ball rolling into so much more.

The Angry Hippies' Podcast begat
1)WHATSABUDGET Films on youtube and myspace (more ranty goodness)
2)1 Million Mad March (a large scale protest we are organizing and planning for March 15th 09 with the help of my listeners)
3)Ask Science Dude podcast (a spin off of sorts with a uni professor friend of mine from Edinburgh, Scotland)
4)The upcoming book centered around the Angry Hippie take on the world (once I finish the Scripture this month I'll start this one).

Meanwhile, as my job has become financially useless in the declining economy, my wife Angie (~ravenfire711) and I have started our own Graphic design business and blog that I write for (at least five posts a week). And while I truly love it, it has not taken off yet to the point where I can quit my other job, so low and behold...time thins even more. Not to mention Arbenting has led to
1) Regular guest posts on other design blogs (three in particular) 1 = 1 post a month / 1 = about 2 a month / 1 = 4 posts a month...time, what's that?
2) Our Social Media Directory for Designers (complete with it's own blog)
3) New design project Dead Wings Designs (a snowboard design offshoot of Arbenting that will officially launch on 1/1/09, but preliminary board designs are in Angie's gallery here.

Add to all that, just trying to have a life, and the days just seem to end to damn soon! So sorry for the drop out, but I've been running solid for a year now with no signs of slowing...and I think I kind of like it.

However, I am trying to make better use of my time and try to reconnect with all of you whom I miss and love so much! You all have always been an inspiration to me, and for that, I'm eternally grateful. You've all been missed!
